Amplex at Danish streetlight conference

On November 18 and 19, Amplex participated at the Danish conference Gade- og Vejbelysning (Street and Road Lighting). Amplex Chairman, Jens Hørup Jensen, gave a presentation on streetlight management and increasing requirements for energy efficiency.
One of the interesting aspects of the conference was discussions on the future of LED technology. There are speculations that this technology may not be ready for several years, and that current LEDs for streetlights are too dim. This may lead to a shift in focus from energy saving bulbs/LEDs to cutting energy using management systems instead.
