Our commitment to the environment
We make solutions that contribute significantly to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Our solutions are in action every day, when we monitor power networks and dim several million streetlights. We hope to make a continued impact on energy and water efficiency.
But it does not stop there. We are committed to reduce our carbon footprint, as a company and as citizens. Our headquarters are located in an energy efficient building. We encourage teleworking which contributes to minimize the emissions from commuting. And we are avid users of Skype and phone/video-conferences to keep travel to a minimum.
Our hardware is compliant with the European Union’s Waste of Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE), which holds us accountable for responsible disposing of outdated modules. Our main hardware supplier is ISO 14001 certified, ensuring that our modules comply with international, environmental management standards.
Through partnerships with e.g. The European Greenlight Programme and the International Dark-Sky Association, we put focus on the necessity of not lighting empty streets. With our focus on improving the efficiency of electricity and water networks, we aim to make an impact on municipalities’ and utility companies’ carbon footprint.
