What’s it like to work in Denmark?

Our headquarters are based in Aarhus, Denmark. This is our base for R&D, administration, PR, marketing, support and regional sales.

Our public health services, schools and childcare are excellent. Schools are free of charge, and parents pay only 25% of the actual expenses for daycare.

Tax levels in Denmark are high, but they pay for a wide variety of benefits such as free health care, early retirement and free higher education with public student grants.

High educational level
74% continue their education after finishing the 10th grade.

Work and play
In Denmark, there is a good balance between your professional life and your spare time. The number of vacation days is among the highest in the world.

The level of contentment among Danish citizens rates as one of the highest in the EU.

Be safe
Danish cities are clean and safe. Denmark has one of the lowest crime rates in the world, and it is considered a very peaceful society.

Housing
Most Danish housing reflects the high living standards of the country. When working for Amplex in Denmark, we will be of assistance in looking for accommodation.

Work permits
EU citizens can stay in Denmark for up to 3 months. If you stay for longer, you can obtain an EU residence certificate. Citizens from the Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Slovakia and Slovenia must obtain a residence and work permit. Non-EU citizens with a higher, technical degree, will usually be able to obtain work permits as well. Amplex will be of assistance in applying for these permits.
